Your answers are scored in your browser.
No account is required. Analytics events and advertising requests are not intentionally given individual answers or result codes. Result links contain score data and are visible to anyone who has the link.
Test Answers
Both the kink test and the BDSM test are scored entirely in your browser. While you answer, your progress sits in browser session storage so you can move between questions; it is cleared when a test finishes and when the browser session ends. Your individual answers are never sent to us, never written to a database, and never included in analytics.
BDSM Checklist
Your BDSM checklist selections, custom items, and hidden-item preferences are stored in local storage in your browser so they can remain available after you close the tab. They are not uploaded, included in the page URL, or sent with analytics events. You can clear answers or manage the list at any time. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may still be able to view them.
Result and Comparison Links
When you finish, your scores — eight interest families for the kink test, or 26 role percentages for the BDSM test — are encoded into the result URL itself. Anyone holding that link can read those scores, and a comparison link carries two profiles. Because the data lives in the URL rather than on our servers, a shared link cannot be revoked. These pages are noindex, which keeps them out of search results but is not access control.
Anonymous Usage Analytics
We use Plausible to count page views and a small set of funnel events: test start, progress milestones, completion, result-detail opens, sharing, comparison completion, checklist start, and checklist export. Checklist events include only aggregate counts and export format — never item names or selections. These events carry no answers, result codes, invitation codes, or profiles. The analytics service still receives the ordinary technical request data any web request involves.
Advertising
Selected public content pages display ads supplied by Adsterra. Ads are not shown while you answer either test or on result and comparison pages. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies, pixels, IP addresses, device and browser information, page-view data, ad interactions, and other identifiers to deliver ads, limit frequency, measure performance, and prevent fraud. We do not intentionally send them individual answers, result codes, comparison codes, or profiles. Review Adsterra's Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy for details.
The Safety Checklist Image
Saving the consent and preparation check as an image happens entirely on your device: the picture is drawn in your browser and downloaded directly. Nothing you tick is uploaded, and we never see which boxes you confirmed.
Cookies and Browser Storage
A locale cookie may be used for language routing. Session storage holds in-progress test state and carries a comparison invitation through the flow. Local storage keeps BDSM checklist selections and customisations until you clear them. Advertising providers may set or read their own cookies and use other identifiers when an ad loads. You can block or delete browser storage, though doing so may remove saved checklist data or stop test progress and comparison from working.
Sharing and External Services
Sharing to Reddit, X, or a system share sheet is governed by that service's own privacy practices, and we cannot control what a recipient does with a link you send. Advertising links lead to third-party sites whose content and privacy practices we do not control. Affiliate recommendations stay hidden unless real, reviewed offers are explicitly configured.

Your Choices, Security, and Changes
You can clear the checklist from inside the tool, clear all site data in browser settings, block third-party cookies or advertising through browser settings or a content blocker, decline to create or share a result link, and stop using the site at any time. The site is served over HTTPS, but no shared URL or exported file can be guaranteed private — store checklist exports carefully and do not post a result link anywhere you would not want its scores seen. We update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above.
